The Seven Sisters are travelling across country gathering their foods and medicines and a man from another Community sees and falls in love with one of the Sisters.  He is ‘Wati Nyiru’ – an ancestral Jakamarra man, and of the wrong tribe to marry the sister.  In love, he followed them all over the country using his Magics by appearing to be trees, flowers and rockholes etc., while The Sisters used their own Magics to successfully evade Him. Finally fleeing completely from the Jakamarra Man, the Sisters flew to the Night Sky to become the Constellation Pleiades and although ‘Wati Nyiru’ was able to follow, he became Orion’s Belt. So now, when Pleiades rises first on  the horizon, Orion’s belt follows …. Always following and never catching
