Lightening Mountain.

Lightening Mountain is the sacred country on Marra/Alawa land and refers to a big hilltop where the Arawan Lightening spirits live. A place where the lightening struck and split the rock with its power. Arawan is half an Alawa word the lightening split, and half a Marra word, the bang. It is located across the river from Ngukkar community. The individual Lightening spirits all come from the Arawan mountain range of hills, with different weather and lightening power.
